THIS IS A 6 CYL , CARBURETED ,DIRECT FUEL INJECTED , OIL INJECTED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE 6 CYLINDER YAMAHA HPDI MOTORS ARE TRULY THE CREAM OF THE CROP WHEN IT COMES TO TWO STROKE POWER. THEY ARE SUPER RESPONSIVE YET JUST AS FUEL EFFICIENT AS A FOUR STROKE OF COMPARABLE SIZE.
IT WAS USED ON A BOSTON WHALER AND THE COMPUTER SHOWED IT HAD ONLY 413 HOURS.
MECHANICALLY THE MOTOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE. COMPRESSION WAS 110-120 PER CYLINDER. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , SHIFTS SMOOTH AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.
COSMETICALLY THE MOTORS LOOKS GREAT. THE PAINT WAS FADED SO WE SHOT IT WITH TWO STAGE EPOXY AND APPLIED NEW DECALS. THE POWERHEAD IS CLEAN AND THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE MOTOR WILL MAKE THE NEW OWNER PROUD.

2003 Suzuki 150hp, 25″ extra long, 2 stroke, oil injected, freshwater outboard
2003 Suzuki fuel injected, oil injected, 25″ or extra long, outboard motor. it is in very nice condition, there are no scratches and no sun fading. The way you see it is how clean it looked when we took it off the boat. Prop and control is included. We have done the following to this motor, we changed the oils and pressure and vacuum tested the lower unit, changed the water pump impeller, performed a leakdown test and all the cylinders were less than 3%. Ran and checked over the engine. The leakdown test is more accurate than a compression test, it has a gauge and you put air pressure in the spark plug hole and measure the percentage of air leaking past the piston and rings by rotating the flywheel. On this test 0% is the best 100% the worst, typically over 10-15% shows signs of wear and anything over 20% will start having a running issu
