We have fully boat tested this 25hp Yamaha and it runs perfect. It is very smooth and has plenty of power to push a This engine has a 15 inch short shaft which is ideal for small boats and skiffs. Since this motor is a 4 Stroke it will be EPA compliant with all bodies of water. The need to mix oil and gas is no longer necessary as this motor does it automatically. 4 Stroke technology operates the same as a car in which a valve and timing belt system is utilized.

HIS IS A 6 CYL, 2.5 LITER, CARBURETED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE MERCURY 150 OUTBOARDS PRODUCE OUTSTANDING POWER AND ARE BOTH SUPER RELIABLE AND VERY DURABLE. THIER LOW END TORQUE IS SECOND TO NONE.
MECHANICALLY YOU COULDN’T ASK FOR MORE. THE COMPRESSION WAS 115-120 ON ALL CYLINDERS. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER, SHIFTS SMOOTH AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.
