2008 Honda 225hp outboard motor 30” inch shaft length. Motor has power tilt and trim standard. This is a lot of reliable Honda four stroke power for little money, she won’t disappoint.
With Honda control box, main wire harness and a stainless steel prop
Motor is truly turn key, all original not rebuilt with with only 500 hours and are well documented to run well over 5k hours if properly cared for.
Compression is 175-180lbs which is perfect for this model. Tilt and trim works fine and lower unit is free of water contamination or metal shavings.

THIS IS A 6 CYL, DIRECT FUEL INJECTED ,TWO STROKE OIL INJECTED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE 6 CYLINDER HPDI YAMAHA MOTORS PRODUCE OUTSTANDING POWER AND RAW TORQUE. THEY ARE LIGHTER THEN A COMPARABLE FOUR STROKE AND THEY ARE MUCH STRONGER OUT OF THE HOLE.
THE MOTOR WAS LIGHTLY USED AND IT CLEAR WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT. THE COMPUTER SHOWED ONLY 239 TOTAL HOURS
MECHANICALLY THE MOTOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE. COMPRESSION WAS 120-125 PER CYLINDER. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , SHIFTS SMOOTH AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE.
